We here at Holy Cross feel one of our missions is to be Christ's hands and feet in the world. To us this means going beyond our walls into the community.
This happens in a few ways. Through our Outreach Ministry we donate food where it's needed. We help with simple things like electric bills or a new bed for someone.
To us this also means being involved in things like Hospice and Meals on Wheels. We put together fund-raisers in our church such, “The Marigold Tea” and “Race to The Head of The Class” which was featured in both The Tryon Daily Bulletin, The Landrum Leader, as well as in larger publications, “The Spartanburg Herald-Journal” and “The Hendersonville Times.” This continuing publicity of our church’s consistent involvement in our community has prompted more than a few guests to visit as well as become members of Holy Cross.
For us at Holy Cross it's not just enough to "talk the talk". We strive to "walk the walk" in our community.
