Music is an integral and vibrant aspect of our worship service at Holy Cross. Our music program is lead by organist/choir director Susie Mahnke. Choir members are parishioners who generously contribute their time and talents to serve God by leading the congregational hymns and service music. They also offer choral anthems from a diverse range of traditional and sacred music.
From the Organ Bench, February 2012
The Holy Cross sanctuary is a place of prayer, worship, and music for many in our congregation and our community. In our worship and music on February 19, we will celebrate the transfiguration of Christ upon the mountain peak. Ash Wednesday follows on February 22, and then we are once more on the Lenten journey.
Bishop Taylor will visit Holy Cross on Sunday, March 4. There will be only one service that day, at 10:00 am.
Our Bach's Lunch Wednesday at Noon Lenten Recital Series begins on March 7 and will take place through April 4. Please see the schedule posted on Upcoming Events.
Choral Evensong will be presented on March 18 at 6:00 pm.
