Mr. Mark Ardrey-Graves,  Music and Program Director

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross in Tryon is happy to announce that Mr. Mark Ardrey-Graves accepted the call to become the  Music and Program Director on May 1, 2007.

The position of Music and Program Director is an entirely new staff position at Holy Cross.  It encompasses the roles of organist, choirs director, Christian education director, programming and occasional pastoral care into one full time position.  This unique combination of responsibilities is possible only because of the staff openings at Holy Cross coupled with Mark’s particular skill set and his understanding of all these things being equally necessary to mission and ministry of the church.

 Sacristan - Mr. Henry Moffitt

Mr. Moffitt has been a faithful member of Holy Cross for many years, serving in the choir, as a lector and lay reader, and chalice bearer.  As sacristan he assists the rector or visiting clergy in preparing and conducting the mid-week services.

Mr. John Douglas, Sexton

Mr. Douglas has faithfully served Holy Cross as Sexton for fifteen years.  He was recently honored by the vestry by the gift of a new computer in recognition of his long and faithful service.
