Here at Holy Cross we believe God has called us to do a great thing as we carry out our Mission: “To welcome, love and serve all people as we to come to know God through Jesus Christ.” We come to know God and His will by being in relationship with Him and talking to Him in prayer. There are a variety of ways to pray and be involved in prayer at Holy Cross both privately and together.
The Rector is over the prayer ministry and provides spiritual guidance and support to its members. A vestry member also has oversight over the ministry. Anyone who feels a nudge to become a prayer minister is encouraged to contact the rector or oversight vestry member. It has been said that God does not call the equipped, but equips the called.
