Our Mission

The Flower Guild strives to bring the beauty of God's creation into our church which enhances our worship and expresses our gratitude to God. The generosity of the congregation allows for fresh flowers to be placed in the sanctuary every Sunday through their dedications and donations.

A flower guild member works every weekend to arrange the flowers for the altar, creating beautiful displays that inspire worship and reflection.

How We Serve

The Flower Guild meets once a year during the late fall to plan for the next year. Our responsibilities include:

  • Developing the weekly donation list
  • Processing donation forms
  • Ordering fresh flowers
  • Assigning member pairs each month to arrange flowers weekly

We are also responsible for special seasonal arrangements including palms for Palm Sunday, Easter lilies, and Christmas poinsettias, wreaths and greenery. Additionally, we may assist with funeral flowers or table arrangements for special church occasions.
